This policy explains what information The Job Shop collects when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password.
• Order details: quotes, proof approvals, orders, delivery address and phone number when you provide them.
• Design files: the files you upload and the previews and part data we generate from them.
• Messages: the contact details and message you send through our inquiry forms.
• Technical data: IP address, browser details and request logs used to keep the site secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.

Card and bank details are entered directly with Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

We use your information to prepare quotes, make and deliver your parts, process payments, send order updates, answer your questions, and keep the site secure. We send order and account emails, such as verification, password reset and order status. If you opt in, we also send order-status text messages; message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out at any time.

Your files

Uploaded designs are used only to quote, produce and support your orders. We never sell them, share them with other customers, or use them for any other purpose. Files are stored privately and kept for 2 years after your last quote or order activity so reorders are easy, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your files sooner at any time.

Anyone with a shared quote link can view that quote and its parts, so share it only with people you intend to include.

Service providers

We share information only with the providers that run this service for us, and only as needed for them to do so: Railway (website hosting), Neon (database), Cloudflare (private file storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email) and Twilio (text messages you opt in to). We may also disclose information when required by law.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms against abuse. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Keeping and deleting information

We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active and as required for accounting, tax and legal purposes. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to delete your account. Some order and payment records must be kept even after an account is deleted.

Security

Connections to this site are encrypted, passwords are hashed, and files are kept in private storage. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep quote links private.

Children

This service is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
